Les inspirables is a board game that aims to create an immersive and dynamic educational experience. At the heart of this project is the fusion between the tradition of board games and the revolutionary potential of digital technology. As the designer of this innovative medium, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with teachers to create a digital tool that enriches and energizes classroom teaching.
GAME PRESENTATION
The aim of this tool is to provide school heads with a means of animating a time of exchange with their teaching team, drawing on the source of Catholic teaching and offering themselves a breath of fresh air and even inspiration!
We’ve all noticed that the many meetings held in our profession rarely offer the opportunity to take a step back and discuss things in depth.
So as not to lengthen these meetings, we’re proposing an animation kit that allows for a ¼-hour time of rereading and exchange, at the beginning or end of a team meeting.
Each theme is based on everyday situations in schools, illuminated by a text from the Gospels. Then, the various cards offer an in-depth discussion and suggestions for taking things further (testimony, music, artwork, initiative, experience… See below for a description of the box contents).
First of all, to offer the whole team a free, rejuvenating break.
MOBILE FIRST DESIGN
The design of this project has been geared towards the mobile, since here the phone will be the dedicated medium for the game. User experience is at the heart of this project.
In fact, I’ve made sure to keep the interface very simple, while providing the necessary information for the game without adding superficial elements that would detract from the experience. For example, here the game’s logo doesn’t seem important to me; all you want to see on these theme and section pages is the information you need to know to access the additional resources.
HOME PAGE DESKTOP
Here, the home page has a completely different role to the mobile version mock-ups: it acts as a showcase site. Here, we’re presenting the game, trying to help people discover its universe through this medium.
